About Nuairs

An environmental air technology company shaped by research, engineering, and lived environmental concern.

Nuairs was formed around the conviction that cleaner air systems should begin with a serious understanding of exposure, environment, and the real spaces where people live and work.

The Founder’s Purpose

Why the work started in the first place.

Nuairs traces its beginning to founder Lael Alexander’s commitment to understanding air quality in Edgard, Louisiana and the surrounding river parishes, an area long associated with industrial emissions and environmental concern. His work examined plume effect, chemical fallout, volatile organic compounds, CO₂ conditions, and how exposure patterns intersected with lived space.

That research was not academic in the abstract. It was anchored in the question of what happened inside the homes, community spaces, and day-to-day environments where people experienced those conditions directly. Once volatile zones and exposure patterns could be better understood, the work naturally moved toward mitigation.

Research Phase

Monitoring, identifying, and understanding the burden

Alexander’s early study focused on identifying hotspots, environmental burden, and patterns of fallout associated with nearby industrial activity. The goal was to move beyond general concern and toward more targeted environmental intelligence.

Mitigation Phase

From measured conditions to cleaner air strategies

Once volatile zones and conditions were established, the work shifted toward mitigation inside occupied spaces. That transition helped shape the logic behind practical air treatment, sterilization, and more intentional environmental control.

Technology Phase

Photo Catalytic Ionization of ambient air

One major breakthrough was the use of Photo Catalytic Ionization of ambient air as a key to unlocking VOC elimination and air sterilization pathways — a core solution connected to Alexander’s broader nitrogen research.

Production Phase

Joint development and manufacturing collaboration

Nuairs then advanced through collaboration, prototype review, product form-factor work, and production partnership as the technology matured from concept into a broader operating platform.

“Nuairs is not simply a product story. It is the continuation of an environmental mission: to understand exposure, identify burden, and engineer cleaner, safer air where people live, gather, heal, and work.”
